The latest entry to the ASUS flagship series, the Zenfone 7, will see an online launch in just a couple of more days – on 26 August, to be exact. However, it appears that we may have a good look at the device before its official unveiling, thanks to several leaked images that had made its way online .
Alleged live photos of the new device and its packaging were recently uploaded to Twitter by two users, @daige8888 and @yabhishekhd. Based on the images provided, fans of its predecessor will be glad to know that the Zenfone 7 retains the flip-up camera gimmick – this time with an additional camera included in the module. Unfortunately, both leaksters did not provide a front view of the device but it is safe to assume that it will sport an all-screen display with no notches or punch-hole cutout, thanks to its dual-role camera system.
According to the specifications sheet included in the leaked photos of its packaging, the Zenfone 7 will be equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD Plus display, a Snapdragon 865 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 127GB of internal storage. As for its cameras, the flip-up triple shooter setup will consist of a 64MP, 12MP and 8MP sensors. The first is expected to be the main camera, while the other two are unspecified.
As with most leaked images and specifications, there’s still a possibility that these would end up being inaccurate. We’ll find out soon enough when the new ASUS Zenfone 7 launches in a couple of days time.
