Just days after adding the sticker search feature to WhatsApp, users can now expect to see yet another addition coming to the latest WhatsApp beta version 2.20.198.9.
According to a report from WABetaInfo today, the Camera icon has been added to the WhatsApp chat share sheet once again. For those who might have been unaware of the change, the camera icon was removed as a replacement to bring in the Room icon.
However, in the latest WhatsApp beta screenshot that was shared on the website, the camera icon could be seen once again along with other usual icons that WhatsApp users are familiar with seeing.
Currently, WhatsApp users would have to manually capture an image from their device’s pre-installed camera app if they wish to share an image with their contacts. This is because WhatsApp has included a Room icon that would direct the WhatsApp user into Messenger Rooms to start a group video call with a sharable custom link.
With the inclusion of the camera icon once again on the WhatsApp share sheet, the new update would certainly save users time should they wish to share an image with one of their contacts in the future.
