Ever since the world was struck by the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us have been relying on video conferencing apps to catch up on office meetings or to simply join in virtual family gatherings.
The Zoom team in their official blog post today confirmed that the company is currently working on making the Zoom app compatible for usage on smart displays. Namely, smart displays that will be able to support the Zoom app include Amazon Echo Show, Portal from Facebook (shown below), and Google Nest Hub Max.
However, users should take note that Zoom on Portal will only be made available in September of next month while Amazon Echo Show and Nest Hub Max smart displays will be able to support Zoom later this year.
While the Zoom app has gained significant popularity over the last few months in Malaysia too, it is good to see the company make further compatibility improvements to their app for better user experience in the future.
