The Sony Xperia 10 II was nowhere to be found after its initial planned release window in June, which was concerning especially to those who were looking forward to it. However, Sony recently announced that the new phone has finally landed in Malaysia and is available for purchase today on 19 August 2020.
To recap, the new Xperia 10 II sports a 6-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with 21:9 aspect ratio, and Sony’s TRILUMINOS technology which is also featured in Bravia TVs. The smartphone features Snapdragon 665 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and is powered by a 3,600mAh battery.
On its back is a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP main shooter, a 8MP ultra-wide angle, and a 8MP telephoto. Housed in the display’s upper bezel is an 8MP selfie camera. In terms of camera features, the Xperia 10 II is equipped with a variety of capture modes and is capable of recording 4K videos.
Other than that, the device is water and dust resistant with a rating of IP65/68 and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. The new Sony smartphone is available in four colour choices: Black, Grey, Mint, and Blue.
The Sony Xperia 10 II is priced at RM1,799 and is now available at Sony Stores KLCC and The Curve, Sony Store Online, its official store on Lazada, and authorised dealers nationwide. The phone’s Style Cover View Case is also available, retailing at RM259.
