If you’ve always been wanting to share Snapchat links outside of its own platform but have been constantly denied permission to do so, well all the wait will be finally coming to an end now.
According to a source from Axios, the popular instant messaging company is currently testing a new feature that would enable all of its users to share Snapchat contents outside of its own platform. Looking at it from a user perspective, this feature would surely provide more sharing freedom to Snapchat users moving forward.
The new update allows users to share “Snap Originals”, “Shows”, “Publisher Stories”, and “Our Stories” from Snapchat to other outside apps with shareable links provided. Do note that after these links are shared to outside sites, users will be directed back to Snapchat to view the content.
In another update test, Snapchat is possibly looking to rebrand its “For You” content feed to be named as “Spotlight”. With this, Snapchat users will be able to submit their Snaps to “Spotlight”. However, the company will be reviewing these contents for approval before users can proceed to share these Snaps.
While this may be an update that has been a long time coming, if you’re an active user of Snapchat, we believe you might want to take note of this new feature that will be coming soon.
