Earlier in the month, we saw reports that indicated the iPhone 12 will be launched in stages. A new leak seems to corroborate this with release windows, many of them narrowed down to the week.
Leaker Jon Prosser has shared new dates for Apple’s upcoming releases. He says that Apple will have its iPhone 12 reveal event on the week of 12 October. The device themselves will only ship a week later, in the week of 19 October. Their Pro variants, on the other hand, will only be shipping sometime in November.
Prosser also suggests that the upcoming Apple Watch and iPad refreshes will be very low key event in comparison. Their announcement is said to be coming via a press release on the week of 7 September.

Since we’ve seen prior reports suggesting that Apple will be staggering the iPhone 12 releases, this isn’t entirely surprising. What is though, is that the company has decided to not reveal all of its upcoming devices at one event. This is especially for the Apple Watch as they’re usually announced alongside new iPhones.
At any rate, this leak suggests we’ll be seeing the Apple Watch and iPad a lot sooner than the iPhones. If we do see it in the week Prosser suggested, it would help manage expectations as to when the iPhone 12 will be announced, and when they will be available.
