As part of Xiaomi’s 10th Anniversary celebration, its sub-brand Redmi has expanded the brand’s K-series flagship family by announcing the new K30 Ultra. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, the new phone is also the latest 5G device within Xiaomi’s family.
The K30 Ultra is also equipped with a 6.67-inch E3 AMOLED display and capable of providing brightness level of up to 1200nits. Together with support for HDR10+ technology, the display also has 120Hz refresh rate alongside 240Hz sampling rate for a smoother viewing experience.
The new phone also sports a quad-camera setup on its back which consisted of a 64MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP telemacro camera, and a 2MP portrait depth sensor. The K30 Ultra also features a motorized pop-up 20MP selfie camera as standard.
In terms of battery size, the K30 Ultra comes with a 4500mAH battery and supports fast charging with a rating of up to 33W. Redmi has included a 33W charger as a standard alongside the phone which is apparently able to recharge the K30 Ultra from low to full within one hour.
