To improve the contact tracing experience for the disabled community, the Selangor government has introduced a unique QR card called Selangkad. The new initiative was revealed by the SELangkah developer team earlier today which has noticed that certain people with disabilities might experience difficulties in using smartphones to scan QR codes.
So, instead of having to scan SELangkah QR code themselves, Selangkad holders can have the shop owners or staff at the premises to scan the QR code on the card to record their presence into the SELangkah system.
Selangkad is certainly a great step by the Selangor state government to make sure that nobody is left behind in the effort to fight COVID-19. However, the card is currently being issued on manual basis.
Hence, for those who wish to apply or learn more about Selangkad, they can contact SELangkah developer team directly through WhatsApp at 014-3025655 or scan the QR code that the team has published right here.
