The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will be conducting a number of surveys until the end of the year. These are the Hand Phone Users Survey, the E-commerce Consumers Survey and the Consumer Satisfaction Survey for broadband and mobile-cellular services.
The surveys are being conducted daily, except for national and Selangor public holidays. Also, the surveys will only be conducted between 9AM and 8PM. The MCMC will first reach out to you via WhatsApp or SMS, with only two numbers being used for this purpose. And they are 017 728 6261 and 017 364 6262. From there, if you agree to take part, you’ll be provided a link to the survey itself.
Participation is, naturally, on a voluntary basis, so you can choose to not take part if you don’t want to. But the MCMC is also giving away a RM5 e-voucher for the first 10000 respondents as an incentive to take part.
If this sounds familiar, it’s because the MCMC actually wanted to do something similar earlier in the year. The survey then was postponed until further notice, and this looks very similar to the one announced earlier. If you need more information about the surveys, you can give the two PDF files linked below a read.
