The President and Head of Mobile Communications Business for Samsung, Dr TM Roh had previously revealed that the company will be launching five new devices at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on 5 August. Today, the company has released a new teaser which once again highlights its plan.
In the 30-seconds clip, the trailer seemed to hint that the Galaxy Unpacked event will be broadcasted from Samsung Digital City which is a massive 390-acre campus that the company calls home in Suwon, South Korea. While Samsung has previously shared that the event will be held in South Korea, this is the first time Samsung provides a glimpse of the actual location which is not exactly a surprising choice.

Around the 23 second mark, the video then showed a set of silhouettes that depicted the five products that Samsung will officially announce on 5 August. Based on early leaks that we have seen so far, it is quite likely they are the Galaxy Tab S7/S7+, Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Fold 2, and Galaxy Note20.
It is also quite clear from the trailer that there will be plenty of behind-the-scenes stories that Samsung will share through the virtual launch event. In case you missed the original announcement, the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on 5 August at 10pm Malaysian time and you can register yourself at Samsung Malaysia’s website right here if you are interested to know more about the new Galaxy devices once they are ready for release in our market.
