With so many rumours around the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 (or Galaxy Z Fold 2), an unveiling during the upcoming Unpacked event would have cleared a lot of things up. But it looks like it may not actually happen after all. The latest rumours point towards the foldable device not making an appearance during the online event.
This came coutesy of Max Weinbach of XDA via a tweet. He goes on to elaborate that the software of the phone isn’t ready for a September launch. And that’s to say nothing of the hardware side of things. With all that in mind, it’s likely the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will only appear in teasers. It will likely only make a proper appearance next month.
This is absolutely no surprise. The software isn't even close to ready for a September launch and there is very few mentions of anything hardware wise. It's likely been delayed a bunch and that's why.

On a lighter note, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G may still make it in time to be unveiled during the online Unpacked event. The device has entered user testing, and the difference between it and the standard version isn’t that great. This should allow it to make it in time for the Unpacked event.
Like the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Samsung Galaxy Note20 is also very likely to make an appearance during the Unpacked event. In fact, considering the unveiling of a Note device in pretty much every Unpacked event in the second half of the year, it would be strange if the Galaxy Note20 were to be absent for this event.
