Apple’s iOS 14 beta recently became available to the public. The mobile is now available for download via Apple’s Beta Software Program, along with tvOS 14, iPadOS 14, and macOS 11 Big Sur.
To download the iOS 14 beta, you’ll first need an iPhone that is eligible for it. These phones include both the 1st and 2nd generation iPhone SE, the iPhone 6 series, iPhone 7 series, the iPhone 8 series, the iPhone X, iPhone XR, the iPhone XS series, and the more current iPhone 11 series.
Of course, it goes without saying that you’ll need to be a part of the Apple Beta Software Program, which is relatively simple to procure as the first thing you’ll need is your Apple ID. Once you’ve downloaded the beta, you’ll want to make sure that you’ve backed up your apps and data. On the Apple Beta Software Program page, simply get started by clicking the “Get Started” button and follow the instructions on its program’s guide page.
iOS 14 was one of several products announced during the WWDC 2020 that was streamed online last month, and comes loaded with several new features. One of which is a security feature that actively monitors 3rd party apps that continuously copy text and paste it on iOS’ clipboard.
