If you’re planning on playing Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding on the PC, you may be interested to know that NVIDIA’s is providing a free code for the game with every purchase of its GeForce RTX series graphics cards. The offer is part of GPU maker’s recent partnership with 505 Games, the official publisher of the game on PC.
The offer starts today and will last until 29 July or while graphics cards stocks last. Bear in mind, the bundle offer is applicable for all GeForce RTX series cards. Starting from NVIDIA’s entry-level GeForce RTX 2060 and all the way up to its enthusiast-level RTX 2080 Ti. Additionally, each GeForce RTX series card comes with only one code.
Upon receiving the code, you’ll need to log on to GeForce Experience and redeem it and link it to your Steam account. On that note: its seems that the code is only redeemable via Steam and not Epic Games Store. On another note, if you’re purchasing a graphics card, the game code will be redeemable from now until 31 August 2020.
To be fair, you don’t technically require a GeForce RTX series GPU in order to play Death Stranding. Based on the game’s official hardware requirement, the game will run fine even with a GeForce GTX 1060. Naturally, the main reason behind NVIDIA’s partnership with 505 Games is because the game will support the brand’s RTX and DLSS 2.0 technology at launch.
