We have recently reported that HMD Global through its new local partner, Macpie Distribution has planned to launch two new Nokia phones in Malaysia. Today, both companies have announced that one of the phones which is the Nokia C2 is now available for purchase.
Being an Android Go phone, the C2 is essentially a device that is aimed for those who are looking for a low-cost entry-level smartphone. Running on 1.4GHz quad-core processor from Unisoc, the phone carries a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display alongside a 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further with up to 64GB microSD card.
The C2 is also equipped with a 5MP f/2.2 autofocus camera on its back together with another 5MP camera on its front. In addition to a dedicated Google Assistant button, the phone also comes with a removable 2800mAh battery.
Priced at RM 259, the new C2 Android Go phone can be obtained directly from Macpie’s online store. Naturally, expect to see the budget phone appears at more retailers shortly.
