If you’re planning on getting a smartphone during the Mid-year 7.7 Sale, you may want to divert some of your attention towards what Xiaomi has on tap. In particular, the brand is offering the Redmi Note 9 for RM100 off of its original price, at RM549.
Just so we’re clear, the Redmi Note 9 variant that’s up for grabs comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, and a 6.53-inch Full HD+ Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display. Beneath the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Camera-wise, the phone’s main module comprises a 48MP wide, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and 2MP depth. Around the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera sitting in the punch hole.
The price cut seems to only be applicable to the 3GB+64GB variant; the 4GB+128GB is also listed, but at the time of writing, its price remains unchanged at RM749. Also, this particular deal seems to only be on offer via Xiaomi’s official LazMall page, while Shopee’s offer is almost identical at RM599. Bear in mind, the deal doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the upcoming Mid-year sale, and seems to just be another deal.
On another note, if you’re looking for something with considerably more horsepower, you may be happy to know that Xiaomi’s POCO F2 Pro is also getting a price cut of RM200, from RM2199 to RM1999. Again, this deal only applies to one variant and in this case, it’s the 6GB+128GB variant.
The Mid-year 7.7 sale is set to kick off in less than a couple of hours.
