The 7.7 Mid-year sale is back and as is the tradition, many big name brands will undoubtedly be selling a variety of their products at heavily discounted prices. Chief among these brands is Huawei and its list of products is relatively comprehensive.
If you’re looking at becoming the owner of Huawei’s most current Mate series flagship, you can get either the Mate 30 or Mate 30 Pro for RM1999 and RM2999, respectively. Both phones officially back in September last year and were the first devices to officially carry Huawei’s Kirin 990 SoC, with the Mate 30 Pro featuring a new quad-camera main array that is clearly skewed towards filming and video recording.
Sadly, the Mate 30 series of devices were also the first products to ship out without the ubiquitous Google Mobile Services (GMS) due to the ongoing trade ban by the US. As such, both phones and every device that came launched after this shipped out with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
Moving on, both the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro‘s special offer is currently available on Lazada, and will go live in just a few hours.
Besides the Mate 30 series, Huawei will also be having a “Crazy Flash Sale” for several of its product, one of which is for its P30 Pro flagship device. Originally priced at RM3899, Huawei will only be selling three units for just RM770 during the 7.7 Sale. In other words, you’re going to have to be quick with your fingers once the sales period goes live. On that note, the flash sale is only available via Lazada.
Also, because the phone was launched before the US ban on Huawei, the P30 Pro will definitely come preloaded with GMS.
Of course, if both Mate 30 devices are a little rich for your blood, you may wish to avert your gaze towards the Nova 7i. Originally priced at RM1099, Huawei will be selling the phone for just RM899 come 7 July. To recap on its specs, the variant on sale will come with 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and run on Huawei’s Kirin 810 SoC. Camera-wise, the phone also sports a quad-camera module comprising a 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth of field sensor.
As for availability, you can preorder the Nova 7i either through both Huawei’s official LazMall store page and Shopee.
For those of you looking for a simple tablet instead of a smartphone, Huawei’s got you covered with the MediaPad T5. Powered by a Kirin 659 SoC, 3GB RAM, a 10.1-inch Full HD display, and with 32GB of expandable memory, the tablet will be sold for RM599 – down from RM899 – during the Mid-year 7.7 sale. Bear in mind, the offer appears to only be available on Lazada, with no mention of the tablet on Shopee.
Again, these are just a few of the items that will be going on sale during the Mid-year 7.7 sale. So, we strongly recommend that you check out both of Huawei’s Lazada and Shopee store pages to check out what other products are on offer.
