So far, Huawei has released seven 5G devices in Malaysia since earlier this year which include Mate 30 Pro, Mate Xs, P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+, MatePad Pro, and nova 7 SE. The company is still not done yet though as another model will be added into the list this month in the form of nova 7.
While the physical design of nova 7 seems identical to nova 7 SE and also has 4000mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge technology, the nova 7’s 6.53-inch Full HD+ display is equipped with an OLED panel instead of LTPS. It also comes with a higher-tier processor, Kirin 985 as opposed to Kirin 820 on the nova 7 SE.
Photography-wise, the nova 7 carries a 64MP main camera alongside 8MP telephoto, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro cameras. The phone also features a 32MP selfie camera and on-screen fingerprint reader which is another factor that differentiates the nova 7 from nova 7 SE since the latter is equipped with a side-mounted physical reader.
Comes standard with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, the nova 7 will be available from Huawei Malaysia’s online store on 7 July for RM 1,999. Early adopters will receive Huawei CM510 mini speaker pair, AP09S 10000mAh SuperCharge power bank, phone case, 12-month access to 15GB Huawei Cloud storage, and additional rewards from Huawei Member Center.
