Sony recently launched its first flagship device, the Xperia 1 II, earlier this year and has been surprising many with its main camera module. Recently, new information pertaining to the Xperia 5 II has leaked and made its way on to Geekbench.
According to the Geekbench listing, the supposed Xperia 5 II goes by the codename 7Y6DU1I, and has a single-core score of 908 and multi-core score of 3322. Also, it is presumed that the phone will be rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Based on the codename “kona” listed in the motherboard section.
Additionally, Geekbench also seems to suggest that the alleged Xperia 5 II will be running on 8GB RAM and Google’s Android 10 OS. Beyond the list, there’s no additional information about the phone being listed, but other rumours online point to the phone having a 6.1-inch display – its native resolution is unknown – a 3800mAh battery to power it all, and a quad-camera main array that includes a ToF sensor.
Again, these are just hearsay at the moment, so it would be best to take all this news with a grain of salt.
