If you’re a Yoodo user, you certainly would’ve experienced some disruption to the service a few days back over a period of 24 hours. To make up for the inconvenience and as a gesture of good faith, the telco is giving all subscribers 3GB of data, free of charge.
Yoodo made its announcements via its official social media accounts, and from the looks of it, the 3GB data is a one-off offer. Further, the data won’t be added instantly and instead, will be added to users’ subscription at 12:01AM on 12 June, which is tomorrow.
As a mobile service provider, we know our number one priority is to connect our users. And on 8 June, we failed you.
For over 24-hours our network and app services were in some state of disruption and instability. We inconvenienced each and every one of our users. pic.twitter.com/0pOaaKZNbt

To recap, Yoodo’s services were interrupted on 8 June, with many of its customers complaining about having no service for the entire day. Normality was restored the following day, although the telco did not provide an explanation as to why or what caused the service outage.
During the outage, some users said that they were unable to use either of Yoodo’s 3G or 4G network. And while calling out was impossible at the time, they were able to receive incoming calls and SMS.
