Looks like the reports of a PlayStation 5 event next week were accurate after all. Sony has officially announced an online event it calls “The Future Of Gaming”. This will be happening at 4AM of 5 June, after taking timezone differences into account.
And as reported earlier, Sony will be showing off a number of launch titles for the PS5. No exact number of games were announced, and the company also did not identify the devs of said games. All the company said was that they are from all over the world, ranging from younger to more established studios, from large to small.

Beyond that, Sony also said that this will be part of its series of PS5 updates, and it still has more to share. But as before, the company is being very vague on this, with no exact details of when and what it will be sharing. It’s not ideal, but it definitely beats the deafening silence from the company up until this point.
At any rate, this event that Sony calls “The Future Of Gaming” will be streamable on both YouTube and Twitch. Once again, the time is 4AM of 5 June.
