Last night, HONOR has unleashed tons of new products held a special launch event in China. Interesting enough, none of them come in the form of a phone though as the event yesterday focused a lot on audio, productivity, and smart home products.
One of them is the 2020 iteration of the company’s MagicBook Pro laptop. In terms of design, this year’s model seems to be just a refreshed model as it looks rather identical to the 2019 release
Still equipped with a 16.1-inch Full HD IPS display that has 4.9mm thin bezels and 100% sRGB coverage, other features that HONOR has carried over from last year’s model to the MagicBook Pro 2020 includes 56Whr battery, power button with integrated fingerprint reader, and pop-up webcam.
Weighing at around 1.7kg, the MagicBook Pro 2020 does come with a new set of processors though. It can be obtained with either Intel Core i5-10210U or Core i7-10510U while NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics with 2GB GDDR5 is a standard feature for the laptop.
Also standard on the MagicBook Pro 2020 are 16GB DDR4-2666 RAM and 512GB solid state drive. However, there is no AMD Ryzen variant for the 2020 model just yet, unlike its predecessor.
Over in China, the MagicBook Pro 2020 with Core i5 carries a price tag of CNY 5,999 (~RM 3,669) while the Core i7 version goes for CNY 6,699 (~RM 4,098). It is not yet known if the laptop will be released in Malaysia for the time being.
