Even though we are not related to each other, we do receive questions about Plaza Low Yat from time to time through our Facebook page. Right after PM Muhyiddin Yassin announced the implementation of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), the questions of whether the IT mall will be opened to public on 4 May begun to make its way into our inbox.
Well, you can now stop sending those messages as Plaza Low Yat has officially announced that it is already opened for business starting from earlier today. In fact, a set of images depicting a huge queue in front of the mall has went viral today although it seems that majority of people inside the photo are likely the staff of the shops inside the mall that are waiting to go in.
Given the CMCO condition, there is a long list of things that you need take note before making your way to the IT mall though. For starters, face mask is absolutely mandatory over there regardless of whether you are a visiting customer or working at one of the mall’s retailers.
Other than that, Plaza Low Yat also stated that it performs temperature check and contact tracing process at entrances including its car park area. So, with that, we hope that you no longer need to message us and asked whether Plaza Low Yat is still closed due to MCO.
Meanwhile, we would also like to ask you to practice good hygiene and please wear your face mask as well as practice social distancing whenever you are out of your home. Please remember there is still no vaccine for COVID-19, so do be safe out there.
