The OPPO A92 smartphone has been officially launched in Malaysia on 4 May 2020. The new midrange handset was revealed two weeks prior and is equipped with a Snapdragon chipset, dual stereo speakers, as well as a quad camera setup.
The A92 features a 6.5-inch IPS FHD+ Neo Display with a punch-hole camera cutout. On its right is a side mounted fingerprint sensor doubling as its lock button, and there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack present on the bottom of the phone. The phone can be unlocked through face scan as well.
Under its hood is a Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128GB. The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support via USB-C. It runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on the Android 10 operating system out of the box.
In terms of photography, the A92 packs a quad camera setup featuring a 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. Other than that, the phone’s camera system includes AI capabilities, as well as 4K video recording. In the punch-hole cutout is a 16MP selfie camera.
The OPPO A92 is priced at RM1,199 and is available for pre-order starting today until 8 May 2020. The device is available in two colours: Twilight Black and Shining White. Those pre-ordering the handset will receive a free 18-month warranty from the company, as well as a free Olike Bluetooth speaker.
Additionally, OPPO also introduced the new Enco W31 true wireless earbuds which features IP54 weather resistance, Bass Mode audio enhancement, and a battery life of up to 3.5 hours, and a total of up to 15 hours with the charging case. The earbuds will be available in Black and White colours, and are priced at RM259.
