Following Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to be the next big game by Rockstar. For better or worse, it looks like details of the game have been leaked. The leaks also first appeared on 4Chan, which brings to question the believability.
Two sets of leaks on the site were combined into a post on Reddit, with plenty of details to go through. To start, the game will supposedly feature four playable characters in total. The playable map is said to be as large as the maps of GTA V and RDR2 combined, with Vice City possibly a small part of it.
Part of the game takes place in the 1980s, but with a time skip to present day. Missions are also non-linear, even more so than in GTA V and RDR2. Traversal on foot has been improved, with the implementation of a Sleeping Dogs-inspired parkour system. The game will also reportedly make use of RDR2’s hand to hand combat system.
The leaks contain a lot more details, which supposedly came from a friend of a disgruntled Rockstar employee. But the story behind it is definitely shaky, at best. As described by the leaker, said employee was disgruntled back in 2019, when the details were first shared with the 4Chan leaker. But things have supposedly improved since then, which led to the leaker not hearing anymore from the so-called employee.
All in all, these Grand Theft Auto 6 details come from a place that’s famous for having a lot untrue information. You can take a look at the rest of the details following the links below. As with such things, it’s important to take them all with a pinch of salt. This is especially important when they come from the notorious 4Chan.
