Ubisoft is currently in the process of revealing the teaser of the next Assassin’s Creed game live on their Youtube channel, featuring Australian digital artist BossLogic. The ongoing collaboration features the artist live painting an artwork that will reveal the game’s setting, and most likely its main protagonist as well.
For a while now, most fans have been speculating that the new Assassin’s Creed title will feature a Norse/Viking setting. This was due to alleged leaks of screenshots and promotional materials of the upcoming game that has been circulating the web for quite some time.
Even more so, Ubisoft themselves may have supposedly hinted it in The Division 2, albeit being a game with no relation to the Assassin’s Creed franchise whatsoever. As reported by Kotaku’s then-journalist Jason Schreier, a poster showcasing a Norse warrior holding the latter title’s iconic artifact, the Apple of Eden, can be found scattered around in-game.
At the time of writing this article, BossLogic’s live stream is still being broadcast and has been ongoing for over an hour. It may take a while until the full artwork is to be completed, so do grab a snack and drink and just enjoy the show if you wish.
