After appearing in regulatory database throughout the world for the past few weeks including Malaysia’s own SIRIM, it looks like Xiaomi is finally ready to officially debut the Mi Note 10 Lite. According to a post on the Mi Community forum, the launch will take place tomorrow, 30 April.
Based on that information, it seems that the phone will be officially announced alongside the global debut of Redmi Note 9 series. This is in line with yesterday’s teaser by Xiaomi which stated that tomorrow’s global launch event will feature two phone series.
According to regulatory document [pdf] that Xiaomi has filed with FCC (shown above), the Mi Note 10 Lite rear camera module includes a combination of 8MP, 5MP, 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP cameras but missing the laser focus feature. As you can see in the main image above, the shape of the module is also distinctively different.
The phone also carries the same 6.37-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and 5260mAh battery that supports 30W fast charger as per last year’s Mi Note 10. All in all, there are already plenty of things we already know about the Mi Note 10 Lite so far.
Since it is already approved for release by SIRIM, we should be hearing from Xiaomi soon regarding the Mi Note 10 Lite’s availability and pricing for our market. We’ll keep you posted once we receive further details, so stay tuned.
