Xiaomi has announced its MIUI 12, which comes with its own set of bells and whistles. Alongside it, the company also released a rollout schedule for the Android overlay, as well as announced the start of its beta.
Looking at the schedule, Xiaomi will be releasing MIUI 12 in three batches, the first of which is by the end of June. The dates for the second and third batches were not announced, and this timetable applies only to China. According to XDA, the global release will be announced later.
But going in order of the current timetable, the first batch consists of these Xiaomi devices, including their Pro and Lite variants if they have any:
- Mi 10
- Mi 9
- Redmi K30
- Redmi K20
These will be part of the second batch:
- Mi Mix 3
- Mi Mix 2S
- Mi Note 10 / CC9
- Mi Note 10 Pro / CC9 Pro
- Mi CC9 Meitu Edition
- Mi 9 SE
- Mi 8
- Redmi Note 8 Pro
- Redmi Note 7
And finally, the third batch consists of:
- Mi CC9e
- Mi Note 3
- Mi MAX 3
- Mi 8
- Mi 8 SE
- Mi Mix 2
- Mi 6X
- Redmi Note 8
- Redmi 8
- Redmi 8A
- Redmi 7
- Redmi 7A
- Redmi 6 Pro
- Redmi 6
- Redmi 6A
- Redmi Note 5
- Redmi S2
It looks like devices that have been released two years ago are also getting MIUI 12. Of course, this, as mentioned, is the rollout for China. Hopefully international versions of the phones will be getting the new overlay as well.
