Xiaomi Malaysia will be offering a limited edition Redmi Note 9S on 6 April, in conjunction with the upcoming 2020 Mi Fan Festival (MFF) celebration. The smartphone features an exclusive grey colour for its rear case, along with the event’s logo above Redmi’s branding.
To recap, the Note 9S is equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ DotDisplay with a top-centered cutout for its selfie camera, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone packs a Snapdragon 720G chipset, Android 10 via MIUI 11, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W FastCharge support through USB-C. The Redmi Note 9S MFF 2020 Limited Edition is offered with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity.
Like its standard variants, the limited edition phone also features a quad-camera setup on its back consisting of a 48MP camera, an 8MP ultra wide, 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. In the punch-hole cutout on its front display is a 16MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi says only 2020 units of the Note 9S MFF 2020 Limited Edition will be distributed globally. Interested buyers can purchase this smartphone on Xiaomi’s official Shopee store tomorrow at RM949. Additionally, every purchase of the phone will also come with a Mi Smart Band 4 for free.
