Even though the on-going Movement Control Order implementation has forced the company to launch its new products online as well as through terrestrial TV channels, Huawei launch event today was quite major to say the least. This is because the company has also launched other products alongside the P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+ which include its high-end tablet, the MatePad Pro.
Just like the three flagship phones, the MatePad Pro is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 990 processor although the current variant that will be released into our market later this month only supports Wi-Fi connectivity. Built with a 10.8-inch IPS display which has native 2560 x 1600 resolution, the Malaysian variant also comes standard with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
For pre-order customers, they will receive their new MatePad Pro together with a free keyboard case and M-Pencil stylus. On top of that, they will also be eligible for 1-year access of 50GB cloud storage and 3-month premium subscription to Huawei Video service.
With a price tag of RM 2399, the MatePad Pro pre-order session will take place from 3 April until 10 April and customers will be able to receive the tablet from 11 April onwards. After MCO is over, you can also take a closer look at the MatePad Pro at the nearest Huawei Experience Stores.
For the meantime, please stay safe, keep yourself health, take care of your hygiene, and stay home as much as possible. Let’s do our part together in getting rid the COVID-19 outbreak.
