OnePlus has confirmed the official launch date of its next flagship series, the OnePlus 8 series. The announcement was made via the brand’s official Twitter account, where it posted the launch date 14 April for Eastern US time (meaning 15 April for us), along with a short nine-second teaser of the device’s outline.
In addition, clicking on the link in the video brings you straight to official livestream page for the OnePlus 8, that in turn also comes with an options button to add the event’s launch date to your Google calendar.

Funnily enough, while OnePlus has confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus 8 series, the teaser doesn’t say anything about its alleged ambassador, Robert Downey Jr. Guess we’ll just have to wait until April 15 to find out if the Iron Man actor really will be the spokesman for the brand.
Again, there’s also still no official specs, but many are expecting the phone to be rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, at least 12GB RAM, and a triple-camera main array, either as good or significantly better than the OnePlus 7 Pro.
