Apple is making a number of games free on the App Store. It’s quite a long list but three of them are made by Malaysian developers inc including Tiny Guardians and King’s League: Odyssey which are the brainchild of Kurechii as well as Kaigan Games’ SIMULACRA.
The first game, Tiny Guardians, is described as a Tower Defense game without the towers. On the other hand, King’s League: Odyssey is a Flash strategy game featuring over 40 character classes that you can assemble in your army. And finally SIMULACRA is a horror thriller story told almost entirely via a phone UI.
Beyond games by Malaysian devs, there are a couple on the list that’s made by developers from South East Asia. Among them are She and The Light Bearer by Indonesian dev Toge Producitons, alongside Mojiken Studio and Pathetic Experience. Then there’s Singaporean dev The Gentlebros with Cat Quest, and Daylight Studios with Takoway and the Holy Potatoes! series.
There are more games in the Apple App Store which are currently free, and you can check out via the link below. No doubt there’s plenty here to keep you occupied throughout the extended Movement Control Order period. There’s no indication as to when this will end, so grab them while you can.
