The Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone has been both teased and leaked before. It looks like the latter is happening again, revealing a few more details about the upcoming phone. Pricebaba reports that these details were found in China’s patent website CNIPA.
On the outside, the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone looks a little on the long side. Based on the images found, this is because the phone has bezels on the top and bottom. The front-facing camera sits in the top bezel, so as to not eat into the display real estate.
The back looks quite different from the one we saw in the previous leak. The only similar element is the Lenovo Legion logo that sits in the middle. Also found here is the triple camera setup. It looks like the back plate could be transparent in some parts, or maybe it’s just made to look that way.
An interesting inscription here reads 855 Qualcomm, which contradicts the previous teaser which says the phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Another inscription reads 5050mAh, which suggests that this is the battery capacity of the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone.
On the right side, the Lenovo Legion looks to have two capacitive shoulder triggers, with the usual power button and volume rocker. On the left is a second USB-C port, which would make sense if it were to have the accessories similar to the ASUS ROG Phone 2, as shown in the earlier render.
At any rate, it’s best to take all this with a pinch of salt. Under normal circumstances, you could say that all these leaks suggest that the Lenovo Legion phone may be launching soon. But with the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s best to not expect it to happen anytime soon.
