Apple very recently made the final version of its iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 to all iPhone and iPad owners. The new update comes just a week after the launch Apple launched fifth developer’s beta version of the software and comes with some standout features, plus some minor updates and improvements to the devices’ overall performance.
For iPhone users, one of the several new features that iOS 13.4 brings with it is new Memoji stickers. In total, there are nine new stickers that are, as per Apple’s explanation, based on popular emoji. Some of these stickers include a party horn, rolling eyes, and an emoji making the “No” gesture.
Of course, it’s not just emojis with the iOS 13.4 update. Apple has also updated its iCloud Driver Folder Sharing protocol. Enabling Apple users to share specific folders with other people via a private link.
Additionally, the software update also brings the Universal Purchase support to both App Store and Apple Arcade, meaning that you’ll only need to pay for an app once and then get to use it across other devices that have the appropriate Apple software update.
As for iPadOS 13.4, one of the most significant feature updates to rollout for the tablet is Mouse and Trackpad support. Originally limited to just being an Accessibility option, Apple has now made it a system-wide feature across the board. Supported on all iPads capable of running iOS 13.4. Like iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4 will also receive the Universal App purchase update.
You can already download iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 via the Software Update section in Settings. Be advised, iOS 13.4 will only be available starting on the iPhone SE, up until the current iPhone 11 series. While iPadOS 13.4 will be available starting from the iPad mini 4 and up until the recently released 3rd generation iPad Pro.
