Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A31, the latest addition to its growing Galaxy A series lineup. Despite being on the lower range of the mid-range spectrum, the phone surprisingly packs some pretty impressive features and hardware.
For a start, the internals of the Galaxy A31 consists of what appears to be an octa-core chipset, 4GB RAM, and a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast-charging. Internal storage is set at 128GB, but can be expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the outside, the Galaxy A31 sports a 6.4-inch FHD+, Super AMOLED, Infinity-U display, that surprisingly also comes with an on-screen fingerprint display. Another impressive feature of the phone is its main camera; it features a quad-camera module that is made up of a 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro sensor. As for the selfie camera, that sensor is rated at 20MP and is nestled, unsurprisingly, within the U-shaped notch at the top of the phone.
According
to the official Samsung infographics, the phone will be available in four colours: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush White. At the time of writing, Samsung Malaysia has not specified local availability or pricing.
