Earlier in the month, the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro were officially unveiled in India. Then, realme Malaysia teased the coming of the latter on our shores. And now, we find that the company has pulled one over on us, as it announced the former instead.
From the previous launch, we know that the phone has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset, and a 4300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor / power button hybrid, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.
For its cameras, the realme 6 has a 64MP + 8MP +2MP + 2MP quad-camera combo at the back. In front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
While we saw it launch with three different RAM and storage configurations, only one reached our shores. And it’s also not a configuration from its initial Indian launch. In fact, the Malaysian model comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This comes with a RM999 price tag.
But, with that being said, there’s a way for you to get it from RM799. The company announced that you can get the realme 6 at this discounted price if you get it from Lazada on 27 March, between the wee hours of 12AM to 2AM.
