As the world continues to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, it’s no surprise that there are companies who are trying to help people alleviate the boredom of self-quarantine. For Square Enix, the video games studio is making two of its titles free for a limited time only.
The titles in question are the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider, and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. The sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Now, there are some catches to owning these titles; First, and unfortunately for console gamers, the two titles are only available for PC gamers via Steam, and for a limited time only.
Second, to redeem them, you’ll need to create an account with Square Enix, log into it, and then follow the instructions the studio has so kindly listed down on their page. Once completed, you should find both games listed in your Steam Library.
As mentioned, Square Enix’s offer is only available until a minute before midnight of 24 March (25 March for us). Also, it should be noted that the version of Tomb Raider being given away seems to be the standard edition and not the definitive edition.
