Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be playable for free starting later today on 19 March until 22 March 2020. Just in time for the first weekend during the country’s Restrictive Movement Order, which started yesterday on 18 March.
With this, the entirety of this Assassin’s Creed (AC) title is fully accessible to gamers on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, content from its DLC chapters Legacy of the First Blade and The Fate of Atlantis is not available during this period. The company notes that the ability to earn PS4 trophies in the free-to-play version will be disabled as well.
Additionally, Ubisoft is also offering up to 67-percent off if you decide to buy Odyssey during this promotion. Any progress that you make will then be carried over to the full game after purchase. Furthermore, gamers will get to unlock the Roman Set costume and Milanese Sword for their character if they participate in the free weekend.
You can claim the free-to-play copy of the game via PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store on Xbox One, and Ubisoft’s UPlay client on PC. This version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be playable at 3pm local time for PS4 and Xbox One, and 7pm for PC.
