If you’re a unifi subscriber, then things may not be as bad as they seem throughout the month. Because we’ve been told to stay in as much as possible, the ISP has decided to give its subscribers access to all unifi TV channels.
The announcement was made on pretty much every unifi social media account. According to the announcement, access to all channels will be open to all residential broadband subscribers. This includes the likes of BBC Earth, Fox Movies, National Geographic, and more. Access to channels you didn’t subscribe to will be available between 19 and 31 March 2020.
Astro announced something similar yesterday, opening up all of its movie channels to its subscribers, until 31 March. If you’ve subscribed to the service’s Sports Pack, then you get every other channel for free, until 30 April. Sounds a little overboard, but it kind of makes up for all the football league cancellations happening.
As it is, we’re already quite spoilt for choice on the entertainment front. In a way, it sort of makes up for all the temporary cinema closures during this period. And of course, for gamers, there’s plenty to go through as well, if for some reason you don’t have a Steam backlog.
