CD Projekt Red (CDPR), the studio behind the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, recently assured fans that the latter title will meet its September launch date. Despite the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The studio tweeted the message via its official Twitter account. The tweet says that it had already implemented a remote work policy for its staff, allowing them to work within the confines and safety of their own homes.

To that end, CDPR says that its remote operations will continue for “as long as needed”, which in this case could mean until a COVID-19 vaccine is developed and world governments deem it safe enough to return to our daily lives.
The COVID-19 outbreak has very clearly and visibly crippled economies around the world. In the world of technology and gaming, the pandemic has caused companies such as NVIDIA and Google to cancel their annual live events, while brands like Samsung and LG were forced to shut down their production plants in South Korea after some of its employees were found to have contracted the virus.
