MyEG will be releasing a COVID-19 rapid testing kit in which consumers can utilize directly at their home. Said to developed by a leading diagnostic company, MyEG claimed that the kit has been approved by health authorities in China and is being used widely over there.
The blood test kit is designed to detect COVID-19 antibodies which would apparently appear in the body within 3 to 7 days of infection. MyEG claimed that the kit is able to detect the presence of the coronavirus within 30 minutes.
At the moment, MyEG is still waiting for the approval from Malaysia authorities to begin the sale of the kit. When the green light has been obtained, the test kit will be made available for RM 99 each and can also be obtained in packs of 10 for RM 990.
