As we get closer to the global launch of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi has begun to intensify its marketing campaign for the new flagship devices. There is this Mi 10 Pro Space Project video which highlighted the phone’s photography capability but we are more attracted to this set of photos on Xiaomi’s Weibo page instead.
According to the description (as translated by Google), someone in the marketing department of Xiaomi has installed a transparent chassis on a Mi 10. Given that Xiaomi has previously released several devices with transparent back such as the Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Mi 9 Transparent Edition, there is some doubt in us regarding the authenticity of that description.
Even throughout the years, a phone with a transparent or translucent chassis is not exactly common in the market. Hence, any device with such bodywork would attract a lot of attention but right now, there is no solid confirmation that the transparent Mi 10 is in production by the company.
Meanwhile, the Mi 10 series has passed the SIRIM certification process recently. Not only that, it also seems that the Malaysian units will support 5G network but of course, we are still waiting for the official announcement by Xiaomi Malaysia which we expect to take place after the global launch event later this month.
