ASUS is rolling out a stable Android 10 update to ROG Phone 2 users worldwide. The company made the announcement on 9 March 2020 via its global account on Twitter.
However, it seems that the update has not arrived to users in certain regions just yet, and is believed to be released in batches. Additionally, ASUS’ official BIOS page for the smartphone still lists the 2019 December update as its most recent downloadable file.
The list of improvements and bug fixes included in the firmware upgrade is still uncertain for now – at least until the company releases the full changelog. Beta testing for Android 10 on the gaming smartphone began in December 2019, with the latest version released last month.
ASUS ROG Phone 2 users may need to wait a while longer until the update arrives in our region. It’s advisable to manually check for the firmware upgrade frequently, just in case.
