Production of Jurassic World 3 is officially underway. To celebrate the occasion, director Colin Trevorrow (who also helmed the first Jurassic World) hopped on Twitter and posted a picture of a clapboard being used on the set. The photo reveals that the title of the final chapter of the Jurassic Park franchise will be Jurassic World: Dominion.

On Instagram, Chris Pratt shared the same photo along with a caption explaining what the subtitle of Jurassic World 3 means. His caption reads:
JURASSIC WORLD
do·min·ion /dəˈminyən/1. sovereignty or control.
“man’s attempt to establish dominion over nature”
Previously, Pratt had mentioned that Jurassic World 3 will be the Avengers: Endgame of the Jurassic franchise. “I’m not allowed to say anything… It’s got everybody. It’s got pretty much everybody in it. Maybe I just blew it, but I don’t care. But I know that all the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back. And so it’s going to feel very much how Endgame brought everything together.”
In September 2019, we learned that the original Jurassic Park trio of Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will return to the franchise after more than a decade. Apart from them, Jurassic World: Dominion also stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda. The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow from a screenplay co-written by Trevorrow himself alongside Derek Connolly and Emily Carmichael.
Jurassic World 3 / Jurassic World: Dominion is set for a June 2021 release.
