UPDATE (17 February/ 2:00 PM):
It looks like the Malaysian PlayStation Store has also added a discount for the game. It’s not as substantial as the 95% cut on the Ubisoft store, with its 85% price cut. But, if you prefer your The Division 2 experience on consoles, the option is still there, for RM36.60.
ORIGINAL STORY (17 February / 11:00 AM):
Last month, discounts saw the price of The Division 2 go down to under RM50. Now, in light of the game’s upcoming expansion, publisher Ubisoft is pushing the price even lower. Until 2 March 2020, The Division 2 costs only RM10 on the Ubisoft Store.
This massive discount is part of the publisher’s efforts to promote the upcoming expansion of The Division 2, Warlords of New York. The expansion itself is also available for pre-order, but naturally it doesn’t have any discounts tied to it just yet.
Warlords of New York brings the plot of The Division series back to the location of the first game. It also brings back the primary antagonist from the first game, rogue Division agent Aaron Keener, and introduces more First Wave rogue agents that work for him.
As mentioned, The Division 2 costs only RM10, until 2 March. The expansion, on the other hand, is available for pre-order for RM105. Even if you don’t intend to play the expansion, it may be a good idea to add thie base game to your backlog first. Also, you may not be able to immediately get into the action if last week’s connection issue to Ubisoft servers have not been sorted out for you.
