Nokia will be introducing its new smartphones at the upcoming MWC 2020 event this month. It’s expected that the company will be revealing the Nokia 5.2 and 1.3 models, but it seems that the former may have already been leaked online.
Photos of an alleged Nokia phone codenamed “Captain America” were shared by leakster Evan Blass aka evleaks on Twitter. Blass suggests that the phone may be the Nokia 5.2 and noted that the images was provided to him by an unnamed tipster.
From the images, the phone appears to feature a large display with a slightly thick chin and a waterdrop notch. It also sports a wide earpiece, which may also function as a loudspeaker. Additionally, its volume rocker and power button is situated on its right, and a USB port is visible on the bottom of the phone.
On the alleged Nokia 5.2’s back, we can see that it features a quad camera setup housed in a circular island with an LED flash module located in the center. Just below the camera island is a fingerprint scanner.
For now, details of the phone’s four camera sensors have not been revealed, and most of its hardware is also kept under wraps. However, Blass notes that the tipster did reveal the alleged Nokia “Captain America” will come with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Nokia’s event at MWC 2020 will be held on 23 February. Hopefully we’ll learn more about the The brand’s new smartphones including the Nokia 5.2 by that time.
