We have seen quite a number of Galaxy Z Flip leaks before and have also heard substantial amount of rumours regarding it but not at this scale. Buckle up and do point your browsers away if you prefer to wait until 12 February, because here comes the biggest leak of Galaxy Z Flip so far.
Courtesy of well-known serial leaker, Roland Quandt of WinFuture, the new Galaxy Z Flip is apparently designed for those who love social media especially Instagram.

This is to the extent that the foldable is designed so that it can be used on table while in unfolded position. In his notes, Roland has also pointed out that the hinge on Galaxy Z Flip has movement range of between 70 and 110 degrees.
Equipped with 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2636 x 1080) Super AMOLED display with 22:9 aspect ratio, the screen design on Galaxy Z Flip is generally a combination of Infinity Flex and Infinity-O. This is because it also features an in-display 10MP selfie camera which is similar to Galaxy Note10 series.
Supporting HDR10+, the screen is apparently protected by a layer of glass that apparently called “Ültra Thin Glass” which supposedly made it more durable than Galaxy Fold’s display. Meanwhile, there is also another 1.06-inch 300 x 116 Super AMOLED on the front side of the foldable phone.
At the same time, the Galaxy Z Flip is also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0-based internal storage. The device apparently doesn’t support MicroSD card though.
As for its main camera, the Galaxy Z Flip comes standard with a 12MP dual pixel f/1.8 setup in addition to another 12MP ultra wide-angle f/2.2 camera. The 183 grams device also features a side-mounter fingerprint reader, and 3300mAh battery which supports up to 15W quick charger and 9W wireless charger.
While the Galaxy Z Flip is expected to be officially shown to the world at the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event in San Francisco this coming 12 February (Malaysian time), Roland has mentioned that the device could be made available as early as 14 February.
He also pointed out Galaxy Z Flip may be priced from EU 1,500 (~RM 6,740) onwards. Well then, let’s see how accurate all the information above is going to be once we go through the Unpacked event next month. So, stay tuned.
