Other than Samsung’s Galaxy Note series, rarely do we see a smartphone featuring an integrated stylus accessory. A recent leak, however, may suggest that Motorola could change all that.
Well-known and reliable tech insider Evan Blass aka Evleaks took to Twitter and uploaded a render of a new yet unannounced Motorola smartphone. In the following tweet after the render was posted, Blass suggests that the phone could be known as the Edge Plus but revealed no further information.
The render depicts a Motorola branded smartphone featuring a flat all-screen display with a punch-hole cutout on its upper left. More interestingly, the device also features a sleek S-Pen-like stylus which looks like it could be stored within the phone itself. However, the only difference is that it appears to have a thick capacitive tip, as opposed to thin pen-like tip found on the Galaxy Note’s accessory.
At this time, it’s uncertain if this phone could be the Edge Plus, an entirely new phone altogether, or simply just a proof of concept. We shall await if Lenovo and Motorola would actually reveal this potential competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note series in the near future.
