Apple has recently announced a program to replace faulty Smart Battery Case for iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, and iPhone XR that were manufactured between January and October 2019. This program takes place throughout world including Malaysia.
According to the announcement, the faulty Smart Battery Case can’t be charged or would only charge intermittently. At the same time, the same case also happened when users tried to use them to charge their iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR.
As opposed to products such as MacBook, the eligibility for replacement can’t be determined through serial number. Hence, you need to bring the Smart Batter Case directly to your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provide for further inspection.
