Following the release of Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3 into Malaysia, Microsoft will also be launching the LTE-enabled Surface Pro X in our market soon. Scheduled to be available in our shores starting from 17 January onwards, consumers are able to pre-order the device starting from tomorrow, 9 January.
Powered by Microsoft SQ1 chip which is a customized version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx, not all variant of Surface Pro X will be released in Malaysia at the same time though. According to Microsoft, the 256GB model with 8GB RAM will be making its way to Malaysia first with a price tag of RM 5,799.
It will then be followed by the 128GB model with 8GB RAM on 21 February which is going to cost RM 4,599. As for Surface Pro X variants with 16GB RAM, there is no release information from the company at the moment.
Just like the Surface Pro 7, the Surface Pro X Keyboard and Slim Pen (shown above) don’t come as standard. Hence, owners have to purchase them separately for RM 639 each or they can choose to purchase the Signature Keyboard with Slim Pen bundle for RM 1,219.
For those who are interested to pre-order the Surface Pro X tomorrow as well as purchase it at a later date, they can do so through these official Surface retailers throughout Malaysia.
