Since the commercial operation of 5G network in Malaysia is expected to take off only in Q3 2020, this means that the network is not yet accessible to the public. So, logically, there are no real reason to launch a 5G phone in our market at the moment but seems like Huawei is preparing to do just that very soon.
Earlier today, we have spotted a massive billboard that showed the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G in Subang Jaya. It is located at a very prominent location since not only that it is situated near Sunway Pyramid but also at the very start of the New Pantai Expressway.
Another solid proof that Huawei is prepping up for the launch Mate 30 Pro 5G in Malaysia is its appearance in SIRIM database. Spotted by local SIRIM database observer, Kevin Ng TK, the device was approved by SRIM today.
